So, I'm encouraging him to want to be a therapy cat. He'd got used to his walking jacket, then the extendable lead. He's worn both around the garden, no problem.
Tonight I carried him to the churchyard opposite to where I live, and he was his usual bold self, meandering about, sniffing this and that, expressing interest, not fear, (especially interested in a flock of starlings, who started screaming at the sight of a little curly predator)
Completely different to walking a dog though - where cat leads, human follows.
I feel like a proud mum, who's child has just taken their first steps!
