Bloody cat licking off flea treatment :(

Just put some stronghold spot on treatment on boycat. He wasn't happy and scratched me. Now he's licking it all off the back of his neck! Will it harm him?

For some reason he has an exorcist head and can rotate his head almost 360 degrees.

It will make him salivate excessively and drool every where, but no it won't harm him. If you put it right where the back of the head meets the neck no cat can get their tongue there.

God we did our cat earlier in the week and she was trying her hardest to get to it and was licking away. She is quite particular and doesn't like anything on her fur!

Thank god, I was worried it may poison him. He's still licking it all off . I held him whilst Stepdad put it on, so it was a bit further down that i'd have liked where he applied it.

Mt two lick it off each other. Vet said they not worried, it's going into the cats that way. Not ideal but.....
