Adored cat is dead

My beloved boy was hit by a car and killed outright. My DD found him on her way back from work. Can't stop crying. He not even 2 years old.

Thank you for all your kind thoughts. Have worked my way through the best part of a bottle of wine and am awash with tears. Will miss the little fellow so much. He was never a lap cat but he purred nonstop. So sad he won't grow to be a old cat

So so sorry . Also lost one of mine to a hit and run also less than 1 yr old . It's just devastating isn't it.

So sorry. Sounds like he was loved and loved to the full, out and about hunting and surveying the world. He had no plans outside the moment, no fears about the future, no anxiety about the dangers of roads.

I hope in time the happy life he had will comfort you.

He measured it in moments, not years, and it sounds like he had a great quality of life, though not the quantity you wanted for him.
