Foster Cat and litter tray

I foster cats and recently took on a pair who were living wild together with kittens that they had both seemingly given birth to 6-7 weeks ago. One long haired chocolate colour, one tortie.

Both spayed on Sunday, but tortie's trips to the litter tray are somewhat explosive and she will pass wind very putridly. Her nipples are still very much exposed as until Sunday she was nursing. Any ideas on how to give her digestive transit system an easier ride?

Are they on painkillers? Metacam can affect digestion.
Microwave some white fish?

They aren't on anything, and the choccy one is fine :)

Try butchers classic cat in a tin it has solved all sorts of bowel problems with my six.

Thanks for the advice. She has her post spay checkup today so will mention it there. She was nursing until Saturday and still feels like she has a lot of milk left; might be worth investigating too?
