We do dry our cat with her own towel when she comes in wet. In winter we keep it on the kitchen radiator, so it's lovely and warm, she loves it.

I am actually considering shaving her though at the moment, as the little fucker has brought fleas home despite dutifully regular applications of frontline (according to the vet, cats in our area are becoming immune to it ) so maybe a fur coat will be useful when she is bald. Fake fur, naturally.
