New boy - name suggestions please?

He's half Bengal, 11 weeks old

Have him quietly stashed in shower room atm, away from other cats; he's mellowing out in the peace & quiet & can't really tell what he's like yet.

But all ideas welcome Smile

Thanks for that, Bagel - I should have realised Grin

Still no name. We went for a walk this afternoon & tossed a few more names around but there's still nothing a majority can agree on. (Actually, do you know what, Bagel would be a nice name for a cat, wouldn't it...!)

A very long time ago (pre kids) we had a cat called Trigger. He could be Trigger Too (or Trigger 2).

The kids still like Jeremy, but it's not a good calling name, so they suggested JC (not Jaycee obv) but I'm not sure that is, either...

I had a cat that looked just like yours. He was called Brian Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/09/2015 18:59

Was it this hard to name the children?.

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 06/09/2015 19:05

Yes it was, Fluffy Grin - they only have one name each because agreeing on those was hard enough!

Brian is very cool, TWSOM. We used to have a car called that. I'll add it to the list.

Arthur was the first name that sprung to mind, I don't why.

Other names:
Benny
Damien

Fluffycloudland77 · 06/09/2015 19:16

Damien is a marvelous name for a bengal.

The Omen?

Arthur was mentioned today (remembering the Kattomeat ad!)

How about Vyvyan?

Bagel would be good! Blush quite nice for calling in garden "Baaaagel" but I like Arthur as well (my father's name).

My children also only have one name each, although son was supposed to have middle one and DH forgot when registering! Daughter's was hard enough to choose first name, now I can't understand why I didn't use one of mine or mother's middle names for my daughter. Just didn't think of it in befuddled post-birth state. Good luck in choosing Smile

Thinking of 'naughty boy' names..so how about
Byron -mad,bad etc
Pan - God of mischief
William..from the Just William books, nn Billy maybe..
Jack (Sparrow)
And Milo and Ozzy, just because they suit him!

Ok, so I couldn't sell Mowgli to you....

How about a naughty name?!
Tinker
Rascal
Zippy
Wiz
Turbo

A friend has suggested goalie names, because the big flexed paws look like goalie gloves, & from that someone else said Paddy Smile - I really like Paddy! It suits him & its a good calling name. So it might end up being that...

I have another problem today though - he's limping this morning, so I'm guessing he jumped or landed badly, or just fell, overnight. It's his left front leg & he can't flex that paw. He's perfectly OK with me touching/gently squeezing it though, all the way from his shoulder down to the pads, so is there any point taking him to the vet today do you think, or shall I wait & see how it is tomorrow?
