One of my rescue cats is basically swanning around like a teenager (moody, only seeks attention when she wants something, disappears outside for hours on end, sometimes overnight, wants to eat crap food all the time but is miraculously slim etc etc). She's also got into a few fights, been mysteriously locked in somewhere for a whole day and got stuck up a tree. Oh and brought in a still warm birds egg. Ok some of this is catty behaviours that might not change but I do have the feeling a lot of it is sort of... teenagery 
. Do cats have a sort of adolescence?!
