I found a cat in my garden this morning. He/she is very thin and was starving. You can literally see and feel every bone in his body. He has been in my house all day, quite happily eating bits of food and drinking lots of water.
I am going to take him to the vets tomorrow to get checked over, and find out if he is micro-chipped.

I have posted on facebook to try to find out if he has got an owner.
Honestly, I would love to keep him. He and my other cat have got on quite well all day.
If somebody does come forward for him, is there any way I am able to keep him? If he has got an owner then he obviously hasn't been looked after for a very long time.

That's what I said:) Then another desperate one finds you, and then another. It's a slippery slope I tell you Grin

Oh don't say that I will probably be the same! But you just see their little faces and can't say no to them!

Oh she's a lovely girl right now even though you can see that she's not in the best of health.

Well done, Enjoy. Smile

I'm so glad you found her, she must feel really ill.

Does she need to go back for more treatment on her kidneys?.

Beautiful Crystal.

You actually wouldn't even know she's ill from being with her, she is so happy and friendly. I know cats can hide their pain though so don't know how she is really feeling.

The vet gave her an injection and antibiotics for 5 days. We have to see how she's getting on by then and maybe take her back to the vets.

Since we have got home she has slept really well. All yesterday she wouldn't settle - must of been in too much pain Sad

Maybe - but perhaps she also feels now that you're Home. Smile

How is she today? And is she still getting on with your other cat now that she might be feeling a bit better?

EnjoyTheSimpleThingsInLife · 15/07/2015 16:38

She's not too bad thanks, eating a bit more food today. She's drinking loads of water as well. She isn't bothered about my other cat, but he has been sulking all day and refusing to eat. I'm sure they will be ok with each other soon.
