I thought it would be nice to have a thread for sharing pics of all our lovely cats and kittens.

Here's a pic of my old man.... Bruce. RIP lived to 19 years old.

Here are my last two fur babies, alas no longer with me! Jasper left in February 2014 and Tillie this year in February, one aged 17, one 19. So desperately missed .

I have don't have puss cats at the moment, for the first time in over 20 years. I like older cats and get them from rescues when they are at least 10 or older.

But I will be looking again in the future, the house is far too empty without them.

These were my two. Litter mates (sis and bro) who usually fought...but it was wet outside this day. Fat cat on the right got run over and his sis died 6 weeks later.

We are going to look at cats tomorrow

The beastie who has joined our household after nearly fifteen years of catlessness - DH appears able to tolerate a Siberian so we have a five month old kitten who is already the size of a normal cat to my eyes. Think he may rival PolterCat Smile

He looks very composed here but is actually trying to decide between making a jump for the fridge or the kitchen worktop, or possibly into the dishwasher Smile He has a gorgeously laid back temperament and the loudest purr known to man.

I just needed to share my beautiful girl. No this isn't a box lined with her favourite coffee bag on the chair in the living room. And I didn't put it there just for her, oh no.

Here are my fabulous pair. I usually use the app, but will take advantage of being forced on to the desktop site to introduce you to them.

Ah how did you guess Fluffy? He is so arrogant that he believes no one would dare touch him, hence the ridiculous sleeping position.

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/08/2015 10:57

He's not very sh for a bsh. Another sign of arrogance right there.

I kind of want to rub that belly though.

TheOneWiththeNicestSmile · 30/08/2015 11:26

This is my youngest (DC3 Grin)

Here's Frankie Smile. Our new edition to the family. He's 12 weeks old and we've had him since Tuesday. He's finally started to come out of his shell, I had a lovely play with him this morning. He's still very firmly attached to DS (10) though. If anything spooks him, he's straight back to DS. Preferably as close to DS's head as he can get.

Our other cat is not bovvered at all Grin. Sadly, the dog is desperate to say Hello and make friends. But Frankie kitten is having none of it right now. The dog is very confused that her charms are being ignored and is spending at lot of time looking like this Shock and this Confused!

Fluffy if you rubbed the belly you would lose a hand, his extreme nastiness could also be the cause of his arrogance.

Corygal · 30/08/2015 21:00

Oooh Lone it would be worth it though, just look at the fluffiness and the curve of that tempting tum.

It took Mr C a year to appreciate the belly rub; now he asks for it every night. Last night he punched the book out of my hand and rolled onto his back by way of a petcare hint.

Osker- 4 month old Siamese x moggy. Hates other cats that isn't OJ and dogs that aren't mine. Not a fan of strangers and not a fan of being picked up but I love him all the same.
OJ- 4 month old classic ginger tabby. Moggy, loves my dogs and Osker. Hates other cats/dogs. OJ is Oskers uncle, but they've got different dads. Grin

Miaow at your service. Was named pixie but was renamed Miaow by toddler dd. Due to a large amount of dreamies provided by said toddler, now responds to miaow. Funny thing is she isn't vocal at all so never miaows.

She is a very cuddly, snuggly bastard and has become dds best pal. She runs to find her in the morning and cuddles up with dd for story time. Dd is in charge of feeding miaow, and makes sure she has plenty of cuddles and treats. It's lovely to see the bond between them.
