Fostering home check today - what to expect?

Very excited and nervous for our home check today, hopefully we'll be able to foster a cat soon! Does anyone know what to expect from a home visit? Anything that the charity will be looking for specifically?

Mine is still scared by everything and very snarly. He won't go near dp. I wanted to keep my first one too :( We go for a meal after each rehoming to celebrate the cat's new life :)

That's a pretty good ritual, waltham. I should imagine that having it would make the transition easier? (Not jesting here.)

It helps. Four cats in and we're ok with them moving on. Not sure we'll miss the holy terror we have now. Everything scares him and he is constantly on the defensive. Today was no-hiss day #2 but lost count of the swipes he gave me! Any advice on making a scared stray happy?
