Cat isn't eating or drinking, very unwell - advice?

My cat is 4 years old. She's a long-haired moggy. Recently she's been excessively grooming and vomiting up huge, sausage-shaped hairballs. A couple of days ago she started eating less and drinking more water.

Yesterday evening I took her to the vet because she was just vomiting up all she ate, although the hairballs have stopped.

The vet said she has fleas (she had been treated but her long fur meant they were still there) and between that and the heat she has been itching, hence the grooming and hairballs. She was given a jab to settle the acid in her stomach but has still been sick twice since then, although the last time was during the night. I was also given 4 pouches of special food for her.

She's now not eating or drinking anything though and is keeping out of the way. She chirrups and purrs when given fuss but moves away from food or water when it's put near her. She hasn't eaten since yesterday and no water today.

I've looked on some pet forums and have seen a few people say their vet recommended baby food for non-eaters. Anyone tried this?

I'm really worried she's just letting go.

I would definitely take her back to the vet, not drinking would be a big concern for me.

Is she weeing still? That's good if so.

Hope it's nothing too serious x

Straight back to the vets tonight.. in this weather she could get dehydrated very quickly. I've a cat who regularly pukes massive hairballs but it doesn't ever stop her drinking. Hope she is ok xx
