Here is my kitty.

My old girl is 19 or 20 now - she was rescue, and nervy but loving when we got her - but you could never get her to sit on your lap for more than a couple of minutes.

She was thrown when our DCs were born - all sorts of scratching and spraying and mad half hours. But they have always been gentle with her and she, in her dotage, is soppy as anything. She sleeps under the 15 year old's bed, or on his neck

She has about three teeth, and I have never seen a cat that moults so much. She also has cunning ways of spitting out the daily thyroid tablet

I think about when she will die and I know I'll be bereft - she's my baby

P.S. No-one is biting anyone. Baby toppled forward onto cat, cat sniffed baby's head.

She - only once- bit my oldest, after he yanked her tail. For months afterward he'd announce 'Cat scratch you pulla tail'

You've heard of sun dried tomatoes? Well this is cat tickled strawberries.

I shall kick off at Waitrose if they don't have Cat Tickled Strawbs! I can imagine they're very expensive though. Cats would demand at least £100 p/h to tickle strawberries.

Lost my girl last July. It's tough.

My handsome 15 year old rescue. I love him very much and he's only been with us since December 2013. Sorry for all those who've lost their furry friends.

She's been like this for 2 hours, I need a wee.

He doesn't do laps but he loves a chair in the garden or anyone's bed.

Do we think 'the cat ate my shoe' is a good reason to be late for work.

The only acceptable reason, Pipbin. So adorable! Oh Rolly, the begging paws of cuteness.

The Little Monsieur loves shoes as well. He has to do a careful sniffing investigation. It's like he's in his own little world. He's quite partial to DH's feet as well.

He's not too happy in this photo, sulking because he'd just had his ears cleaned.

Two of these are mine and the kitten joins me in a fortnight! The cat walking through flames is quite safe, it's an electric fire.

I do love my little herd of pets. Don't know what I'd do without them.

She's nice when she's asleep

This is 10 week old Elsa. Can you tell we have a frozen fan in the house.

Little Monsieur scratches the bedding until I lift it up so he can get under the covers. Then gently beats up my leg, before nodding off.
