Introducing the boys!! Moggie McLeod is the black and white boy pretending he's a meerkat and Fluffy (M)Cloud is the white chap. Love them both and they are so the bosses of the house!

Is the beautiful Fluffy deaf in one ear?

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/06/2015 17:17

Martyr I'm so sorry, I hope it was accidental.

This is asbo. If he were human he would be a 1980's football hooligan with a can of carling black label in one hand a Stanley blade in the other.

He is very affectionate though. To me anyway, still ignores dh.

He is so handsome, Fluffy.

Thanks Pipbin.

Fluffy definitely has no hearing problems; he can hear the cat food cupboard opening from several gardens away Grin

They were both unwanted pets which breaks my heart. Still, they decided to adopt us and have made our house a home.

Pipbin · 29/06/2015 20:21

I understood that white cats with different coloured eyes were deaf in the orange eyed side.

He's got one green and one blue eye. Apparently it's due to the pigment not maturing in his blue eye as it normally would to turn the eye green. He is a dude, but he is cross with me right now because I cornered him to put his sun cream on this morning! Not a happy Fluffy!

Love this thread, so nice to see pictures of your cats!

cozietoesie did you mean my cat when you said about having a kind and gentle face?

He's lovely quite passive and a little distance prefers to be out and about, but very tolerant to the attentions of DS2 (how adores Cat to bits, and will hug him every time Cat saunters by, I often find DS2 curled up around Cat on whichever bed Cat has chosen to sleep on at night)

I get rewarded with a little purry meow (does that sound have a name?) and a bunt whenever I see him.

I wasn't actually supposed to keep him (on account of DH not liking cats) as fostered him after he was found, so teeny and hungry, until he was found a home, but all the DC fell head over heels and DH said there was no way he could separate them from him (DH still doesn't like cats mind!)

I'm in a slight tizz though (and I don't want to start a thread about this as it'll attract the attention of the wrong sorts) but he no longer uses his litter tray. Any helpful hints (by pm if you want) are very much welcome!

So many beautiful cats on this thread! I so have the makings of a mad cat lady, I want them all!!!

Yes I did, Wixing - he just has a kind and gentle look to his face.

Don't be shy about starting a thread by the way - if he's having a problem, ask for comments. Remember that for every thread posted, there are probably loads of people with similar problems who could read it and take heart from it.

WixingMords · 29/06/2015 21:17

Thanks!!

Have to say I thoroughly adore him so I totally agree with your observations!!

Poor Martyr, so sorry.

I want to tummy rub all the cats on this thread, they are gorgeous. Must be easy to become a cat lady.

QueenFuri · 29/06/2015 21:37

I could easily become a cat lady, I almost adopted my neighbours 12 week old kitten last night she is having to rehome due to her elder cat being so stressed with the kitten, its refused to come in the house for the full 4 weeks she has had it. She asked me if I would like it as she knows I like cats and I was all ready to say yes but DP said no arse.

Pipbin · 29/06/2015 22:51

I grew up in a cat lady house. We had 11 when I was little, but some of them were farm cats so only about 8 lived in the house.

I could so easily be a cat lady.

Here is Mr B, who was saved from pancreatitis last week with the assistance of Lone, cozie and TCN.

This precious moment was captured within moments of his arrival home from hospital, after the vet told us he was 'painfully weak', when he was greeted by wobbly-lipped humans tremulously bearing a catnip seedling.

I've just bought another one.
