Advice needed on settling cats into new house and area

so after the longest month of both jingle cats coming out of the Cattery and U.S. All moving from London to the country I need to plan for their new life. Jinglecat 1 hates being indoors so I don't want to keep her inside for ages. In our last house move she went outside straight away and was fine but it was London and she kept to our garden. The new house is in the country big garden and fields everywhere.

How should I manage this?

Keep her in for a couple of weeks to get used to the area. She can scope out what's going on in her new patch.

I bet she will love the open fields to roam in.

Definitely keep her in initially. Mine is quite a nervy cat but more or less lived outdoors during daylight. We moved 2 weeks ago and she's been in since. She's taken that long to feel confident indoors. The last couple of days she's really calmed down, I'll probably let her out the weekend after next.

But I think keeping her indoors stresses her more. Perhaps in the second week she could come out with me in the day time? How do you tell if a cat is ready to be let loose permantly?

Custard cat came from abroad too.
We kept her in for ten days & she was furious; crying by the window to be let out. We took her out for a stroll round the garden on a long lead & she shot up a tree.
When we relented we let her out after supper for 10 minute intervals using Dreamies as treats when she came back.
She's outside as much as she likes although refusing to use the cat flap and doesn't seem to stray too far.
