Vaccinations out of date - cattery tomorrow!

So we're just getting our two boys ready with all their things to take to the cattery tomorrow as we're going away. And we suddenly notice DCat1's booster vaccinations are out of date by a couple of weeks! Shock

He was supposed to get them by the end of May - I'm shocked as we're normally very much to the date on these things!

Does anyone know whether the cattery is likely to not accept them still due to this? They have been to this particular one several times so they know they're usually fully up to date etc! How strict are catteries usually in this situation?

Thanks everyone!

I don't know about cattery rules, but I do know that 2 to 3 weeks past a year is still fine and the cat is still protected and could have a normal booster without starting again from scratch.

Let's hope the cattery will take pragmatic approach.

Oops. I'd imagine all should still be well. Pity it's Saturday night as you could otherwise swing by the vet's in the morning. Hope all works out and have a nice holiday.

Thanks for your replies! Fingers crossed it should still be okay then! Or else MIL might be getting two unexpected visitors Smile

This will teach me to triple check next time!

Same situation for us, when we recently went away. Our cattery was fine with that.

They took them thankfully! Though not until giving us a good telling off first ????
