Can anyone advise on how to encourage our little cat to do her business outside? Her poos STINK and I'm pregnant, my husband will only clear it out after me reminding him a million times.

She doesn't go out the cat flap either which I'm hoping she will learn soon.

I'll keep it for emergencies but I'd like it if she at least did a few of her daily poos ans wees outside. Any tips?

I have two cats and two litter trays,
I line the trays with double layered kitchen roll and when emptying the tray into a bin bag just need to hook the corner of the kitchen roll with the litter scoop and it all folds over and falls into the bag, much less messy than scooping all the litter.

I'd much rather the cats poo'd indoors than outside at random, fat old cat is 20 so she rarely goes out anyway.

I always had to have an indoor tray with my free to go out cats.

One sunny day, I watched my little grey boy come back inside from the garden to do a pee in the tray. Nearly fainted at the cheek of him.

You'll be very thankful, Pang, if the day ever comes when you have to collect a urine sample for the vet. Smile
