We're on holiday until Friday and I've had a text from the pet sitter to say my little fur baby is missing. He didn't eat his dinner last night or breakfast this morning and she hasn't seen him. This is so unlike him and I feel so useless not being there for him. I keep telling myself he'll be ok but this is so unlike him - he's only gone missing once before in the seven years he's been with us and that was for a day.

I want to go home Sad

I wouldn't put it past him!

We're going to use the cat sitter again - she was really good and has told me everything she does if a cat goes missing so I feel comfortable with her and H really likes her. He's only done it twice in the 7 years he's owned us so I think it's been an accident each time! First time we think he got shut in next door as when they came home he suddenly strolled up the path and this time we think it might have been something similar.

One of mine, Polly, vanished for 14 weeks. She just appeared one afternoon and shouted very loudly to get my attention.
She had a huge ragged hole on her face. The remains of an abscess. But we were pleased to see each other and she rarely leaves my side now. A very satisfactory arrangement. Never give up hope. I hope your cat gives you a warm welcome.
