Can't agree with myself if this is a great idea or just laughable.
I love cats with a capital L, what I lack is RL friends who feel the same way. Current friends range from dog lovers to those who simply have cats but don't take much notice of them aside from feeding & the occasional scratch behind the ear :)
I would love to meet the sort of cat lovers who frequent this thread, the kind of people who have 'cat chicken' on their shopping lists, who wouldn't recognise a nights sleep without being woken at least three times by said beloved kitty(ies) the ones who walk around their garden with a cat on their shoulder simply because it pleases puss (example taken from a recent thread :))
Anyway, long story short, i thought of starting a 'cat club' - like a book club only for cat 'nuts' - we could talk about our cats present & past, show photos, get advice on behaviour etc.
Light refreshments provided, meet once a month at group members houses in turn.
Give it to me straight, have I lost the plot completely?
Would you consider joining a club/group like that
