Cats permanently on the wrong side of the door!

Doesn't it drive you crazy? Come in and cat is yowling to come in. I say "fine, but are you sure as it's a nice day!'
Yowl.
Let cat in; within ten minutes cat decides he wants to go back out Hmm Grin

We got a new door two years ago with a new cat flap which cat is scared of (he has a brother who isn't remotely bothered!) so cat flaps are not the answer.

Come share your irritation with me!

I see your training is progressing nicely. Smile

CheshireCait · 18/04/2015 13:49

You must leave the door open at all times.

No other solution is satisfactory.

Black2catsgreen4eyes · 18/04/2015 13:51

Cozie indeed it is!

I've just tried to take a photo of him for you but he ran off! Grin

You fail to appreciate how privileged you are to be a servant to your betters. Tsk Tsk. Know your place minion.

Jack's the same. Wants to go out until he feels wind in the fur.

sashh · 20/04/2015 06:53

Mine likes to sit with her bum inside nice and warm and her nose and front paws outside, she manages this through an open window and thinks I'm most unreasonable when it's snowing and I won't let her.

chockbic · 20/04/2015 13:09

Ours will go out in any weather, except strong wind.

susiedaisy · 22/04/2015 16:09

Our boy likes to sit outside the back door which is frosted glass and just stare at the glass watching us pass by. If you're open the door he looks at you then runs off.

susiedaisy · 22/04/2015 16:11

Sash our boy does the same, bum and back legs inside, head and front legs outside. Smile

RubbishMantra · 22/04/2015 18:57

MCat sits the other side of the cat-flap, staring wistfully through it. Making "Mowowow" noises. I'm sure our neighbours must think we lock him out during the day.

chockbic · 23/04/2015 11:36

You're neglecting to open the flap for him, that's why.

Know your place, inferior serf.

RubbishMantra · 23/04/2015 16:00

Yes, but to open it, I have to push it outwards. Therefore hitting him in the head. Therefore increasing his angst. I should've named him Kafka.

Today he's spent all day curled up, like a cooked prawn, on the bed.

BagelwithButter · 23/04/2015 16:01

Kafka Grin great name

MCat would be angry though, if he woke up as a cat sized beetle. Not moping about. He'd be terrorising people. Scissoring his jaws all over the place.

bruffin · 23/04/2015 18:06

ArchieCat was extremely put out this week that the door was open because of the warm weather, meaning he couldn't make us get up to let him in or out depending on his whims every 2 minutes. He didn't seem to know quite what to do with himself.

Fluffycloudland77 · 26/04/2015 19:11

He didn't think to try and get in the garage then? Amateur.

Ours loves a good mooch in the garage and a wee on the wheelbarrow.
