Lotus, my nine year old Siamese was pts in my arms today. She had cancer. She was everything a Siamese should be; exquisite, bossy and she loved me so, so much. And I loved her. R.I.P my darling.

So sorry, you must be heartbroken Flowers

cozietoesie · 18/02/2015 19:23

I'm so sorry, MrsFring.

MrsFring · 18/02/2015 19:28

Thank you both. I used to be Merlincat; I lost my beloved Merlin last year but he was 20; Lotus was too young to die and anyone who has known a Siamese will know how strong the bond can be. I hope SeniorBoy is well Cosie.

So sorry. Try to take comfort from the fact that she didn't suffer and you were with her at the end xx

cozietoesie · 18/02/2015 19:35

Seniorboy is flat out in bed on top of his electric blanket. I'm perched on the edge of the bed with the laptop while he lies horizontally in comfortable warmth.

MrsFring · 18/02/2015 19:40

That's very Siamese. Thank you all for your kindness, it means a lot.

So sorry you have lost Lotus, she sounds wonderful. I lost my boy last spring, still miss him dearly but can enjoy the memories now, instead of being heartbroken.

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 18/02/2015 19:48

I'm so sorry.
What a perfect name for a Siamese cat.

MrsFring · 18/02/2015 19:56

Thank you. She was perfect, stringy and elegant, deep blue eyes and a diva. I have never been so loved and never will be again.

Sorry to hear of your loss Flowers

I lost my handsome, charming siamese tom a few years ago. I still miss him every day,he was my perfect bonded cat. (I'm sure you understand what I mean)

With time, I have very happy memories which I treasure. I still shed a few tears for him though.

Best wishes to you Sad

Ohfourfoxache · 18/02/2015 20:03

I'm so sorry Sad

silkandsteel83 · 18/02/2015 20:13

I'm so sorry. I have 3 siamese, so know how you have such a strong bond with them xxx

MirandaWest · 18/02/2015 20:46

I'm sorry. I had my cat put to sleep 6 weeks ago and I didn't realise how much I'd miss her. Keep expecting her to be there when I come home and she isn't.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my boy at the beginning of December, so I can relate. It sounds as though she had the most wonderful life and that you will have lots of beautiful memories to look back on when they can be a comfort not painful.

susiedaisy · 20/02/2015 16:00

Sorry for your lossThanks

MrsFring · 20/02/2015 21:11

Thanks everyone. Even though we live in a mad cat house ( two Bengal boys and a Burmese) I feel completely bereft. I can see her everywhere; those beautiful blue eyes following me, her repertoire of squeaks, chirps and squawks. It was such a pure attachment we had, not even cupboard-love she just wanted to be with me.

I just can't believe I'll never see her again. I don't want to.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My wonderful, loyal, loving ginger tom was PTs this morning and like you, I don't know how to get through this. He was nearly 17 so I know it's different - but it hurts so much.

MrsFring · 21/02/2015 15:50

Thank you. I'm so sorry too, there's something very special about ginger boys; I'm sure he was well loved and that you have wonderful memories of him.
