We took in an abandoned kitten when the weather got so cold after Christmas. The CPL didn't have space for her then. They put her on the waiting list, and we said we would look after her until they could take her.

They have just rung to say they can take her tomorrow,

I can't afford to insure another pet, and we don't have room either.

Still heart broken.

You have done a lovely lovely thing and thanks to you hopefully that kitten will be beautiful friendly with people and find a loving home very soon.

It's impossible not to be smitten. I'm sure you knew this would happen too which says even more about the person you are, knowing how bad you would feel but taking that poor little kitten in anyway.
