So Jack decided to be an affectionate boy today.

He's snuggled into my neck, twice, with his paws either side.

There was some claw action. Mild. Well, you can't have everything.

They were shaking in the wind. If that counts.

Do you think LM will ever make it out of the garden?

He sits on the shelf looking up at the wall with interest.

DH craps himself when that happens and rattles the Dreamies to get him in the house.

What about Jack? Has he made it down to the local shops for his menthols and cheap beer yet?

RubbishMantra · 13/04/2015 12:16

Here they are posing nicely for their mum last summer. On their shelf I put up for especially for them. So they didn't have to scale a 10 foot wall in one go.

Little Monsieur just forgot his tail was part of his body, tried to catch it, and fell off the windowsill. Grin He actually looks like he's been given the wrong size tail. The thing's grown huge and floofy. Like a fox brush.

He might be part fox. You never know. I like that picture.

Jack, for all his swagger, rarely gets further than the garden shed.

LM's all Charlie Big Potatoes all around the house as well.

He strides about like a peanut-headed chicken-necked mahoosive floofy tailed curly panther.

chockbic · 14/04/2015 16:50

Yup just like the o2 cat, strutting around.

Yes, but I don't understand the 02 catch-phrase. "Be more dog".

Surely a cat would want to be anything but a dog? Cats sneer at dogs.

Stinkersmum · 15/04/2015 04:00

Going through the first trimester of pregnancy, afternoon naps were my thing. I'd go to sleep on my sofa and wake up festooned with cats all cuddling/spooning/lying on me. I have 11 at the mo, so I get pretty covered. I love it when they do that. :)

Ratfinkandbobo · 15/04/2015 10:07

When I was pregnant with my twins my cats loved to sprawl on my massive baby bump!

chockbic · 16/04/2015 12:36

I've had a scalp massage. Put his claws to good use this time.

Rubbish, I think they're saying cats are lazy and unmotivated.

Put him to work at your local holistic therapy outfit. Indian head massage. Reiki even. Jack and his healing paws/claws.

Ohh, I get it now, about the 02 ad. Went completely over my head. Confused

Try the quiz: bemoredog.o2.co.uk

I'm a zipadeepoodle Grin

I've been pondering for a while. Our cat found us a year ago as a seemingly feral 5 week old kitten. She has never once bitten, clawed, hissed or shown me her bottom. She's not really a cat is she Blush

RubbishMantra · 16/04/2015 15:45

Actually, Little Monsieur never purrs (unless he's humping the shag bag, but that's a whole other story). He wags his tail when he's happy. Not flick it about like cats do when they're annoyed, but delighted wagging from side to side.

Perhaps he really is trying to be more dog?

I'm a Zipadeepoodle too! Grin Unless the quiz only has 1 outcome.

chockbic · 16/04/2015 15:57

Jack occasionally brings a piece of scrunched up paper in his mouth. Never a bone, it has to be said.

Anyway, I've just done the quiz again! You can have Cocky Spaniel as a cat-egory.

And yes, LM modestly covers his bum with his tail. When he was a kitten, he was often mistaken for a puppy.

MCat proudly shows off his pink ring at all times. Tail aloft.

RubbishMantra · 16/04/2015 16:07

I get scrunched up paper. And straws. And squeaky (toy) mice. Then he demands to play fetch until my arms fall off.
