So Jack decided to be an affectionate boy today.

He's snuggled into my neck, twice, with his paws either side.

There was some claw action. Mild. Well, you can't have everything.

I had to google "throwing a Clarkson"

That bloke's such an arse isn't he? Grin

chockbic · 14/03/2015 11:29

Jack's the same if his dinner's late Confused

RubbishMantra · 14/03/2015 13:40

Now I'm imagining Jack demanding his dinner in a pompous Clarkson voice. And you cringing in fear that he may throw a punch at you with those massive paws.

And then insisting you listen to him drone on and on and on about cars after he's eaten.

chockbic · 14/03/2015 14:03

Pretty much what you have described. He's been crashing his toys. Just because. While the local cats look on mesmerized. They aren't allowed to do it, see.

God, they really are arses at this age, aren't they. Grin

The Jeremy Clarkson stage of development.

Imagine his embarrassment if he knew you'd discussed his loose bowel movements on the internet.

chockbic · 15/03/2015 14:32

I'm just hoping he gets beyond the JC stage Shock

Bit of both rubbish Grin

he's soooo gorgeous and vicious and cuddly and carnivorous and silky and savage ...

RubbishMantra · 15/03/2015 19:27

And that what makes them so lovable, innit QOD?

Is he a Russian Blue?

QOD · 16/03/2015 00:43

No that's bad lighting and pale belly Grin
he's a short haired black with yellow eyes. Sort of part Bombay. He's our 4th cat, dh & I left home 28 yrs ago and 3 of them were this. Talkative and er "friendly"
He's got his chin on my foot right now at 0.40am and we've had a lovely cuddle and stroke session. He's not left me alone at night since my surgery, bless the monster

Nice moments with your cats
RubbishMantra · 16/03/2015 07:06

They do make good nursemaids.

Bless their little furry selves.

And he is shiny and beautiful.

Healing thoughts for you from your surgery.

QOD · 16/03/2015 09:43

He does love me --and not only because I'm the lick e lick feeder like dh says-'

RubbishMantra · 18/03/2015 10:49

MTeen, lying on his back using both paws at the same time to wash his little face.

chockbic · 18/03/2015 12:24

That's so cute.

Rabbits do the two paw thing.

RubbishMantra · 18/03/2015 13:55

I want some degus. Very cute creatures. However scaredycat and killercat would try and eat them.

Scaredycat lives in my teens room, only venturing down for water or to go out for a wee. She seems happy up there, she's a little tiny tabby and white rescue about 8 years old. She's very affectionate with the teen and lies on her head.

Killercat is a 13 year old male tabby. He's got major attitude and a tendency to kill things. Birds and mice mainly but the little shit has also had a few fish out the pond including a koi. He didn't even eat it, just left it lying on the path and sat there looking smug as if to say "you think that net can stop me?" He also kills elastic bands and hair bobbles with much crashing about at 2am in our bedroom. His best trick is the paws clamped round the ankle to stop you leaving the kitchen and then refusing to eat his cat food and looking in vain at the fridge because that's where the ham is.

I do love them.

RubbishMantra · 18/03/2015 18:31

They're proper arseholes aren't they.

Why do we invite them into our homes?

butterfly2015 · 18/03/2015 21:05

Because they are really cute and sometimes we are permitted to stroke their furry little heads without them ripping a finger or two off? We once attempted giving killercat a working tablet. Two adults, one cat, one very large towel, one tablet.

After much screeching (by dh - cat had managed to get one paw free) and shouts of "hold him fucking still" we eventually got it in his mouth and held it shut til he swallowed. He then struggled free, hacked up the tablet and legged it out the catflap leaving us mopping up blood and a tablet covered in cat slime.

This is the only time he uses the cat flap. He knocks on it with his head or his paw and we have to open the door for him. I do wonder who the owner is sometimes.

chockbic · 18/03/2015 21:18

Hold him fucking still. Hahaha.

Oh God! I am howling silently (so I don't wake dh) ...the bed is shaking and I have tears and everything.

The bloody cat is lying at the bottom of the bed glaring at me because I disturbed his 18 hour nap

chockbic · 19/03/2015 11:18

It's true, isn't it? What a bloomin' palaver Wink

OP posts:
butterfly2015 · 19/03/2015 12:06

Still laughing at that. He's gone out for the day, it's sunny. He's probably gone to the old people's home next door where he has another name and another personality. All the old lovelies say "oh is tiger yours? He's so sweet, he's so affectionate!" Yes, because you are feeding him bloody tuna!!

And then he comes home, refuses to use the cat flap, demands food and then lies in the middle of the sofa so no one else can sit down. Grin

chockbic · 20/03/2015 12:11

They make us know our place, that's for sure.

Jack likes to squirm on my side of the bed. Which is slightly unsettling. I have to squeeze onto the edge, so not to upset him Hmm

RubbishMantra · 20/03/2015 12:39

I had fighting in bed this morning.

MCat got the spot under the duvet, between me and DH. At some point MTeen tried to burrow in. Lots of hissing and yowling and growling from MCat.

Then the wanker bit me! At that point, he got turfed out.

RubbishMantra · 20/03/2015 12:42

*Probably should have put that ^^ in "Scary moments." Because it wasn't a nice moment. At all.
