Good luck. I sympathise.

14yo at here, hasn't been great at going outside in the winter for the past few years but has recently lost 14yo sibling so is a bit unsure of herself.

This last week she has weed and pooed in the living room, pooed in the kitchen, pooed in the living room again. It is driving us up the wall to be honest as it stinks. Even using urine eliminator there is still an aroma.

Another tip for getting rid of the smell is to use a strong solution of biological washing powder, saturate the area and leave it to soak for as long as possible. Obviously it depends on whether the surface can take this treatment. We moved into a flat that had had 17 indoor cats living in it before us and this helped a lot with the "hot spots" although some areas needed new floor boards. We also found that the underside of some of the floor was covered in crystallised cat pee. Luckily it had polished floorboards throughout, so no carpets involved. It was a lovely flat to look at and eventually did not smell that much at all.
