He was a rescue kitten in good nick when we got him; confident little thing.
We put a collar on him when he was few months old, but he kept scratching it - seemed that fleas were congregaring under it and he had few scabs.
The collar has been off for 2 months now, the fleas are sorted, but he is getting more scabs around the collar area - no where else. They're not weeping or infected, and he's let me pick some of them off and there's not much to be seen under them. He doesn't seem bothered by his scabby neck
Any ideas what this is? Does he need a trip to the vet or can I clearr it up somehow myself?
