Pearl The Wonder Kitten!

She is going to spend a couple of days in ds2's room just until she gets used to her new environment.

She purrs every time you touch her.

DS won on the name, eh?

She's great.

What a little darling!

Canshopwillshop · 07/10/2014 18:33

Oh she's gorgeous Smile. Congratulations - I hope she settles in quickly.

I get really anxious until they use the litter tray Confused

She looks so small in that basket.

They do grow quick though.

It happens with grown cats as well, I'm afraid. One of those things that's always there.

She is snoozing now.

Old Cat and Fat Cat haven't noticed anything yet.

cozietoesie · 07/10/2014 19:12

Oh they'll know she's there all right! They're just choosing to pretend she isn't around - which is fine at the moment.

Smile
hiddenhome · 07/10/2014 19:20

I hope they don't give her a hard time. She comes from a very multicat household, so should be able to cope.

cozietoesie · 07/10/2014 19:27

She's probably learned her cat manners then - it should be OK although easy does it.

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/10/2014 20:44

She's lovely, she does look teeny in that basket though. Have you got a fleece to tuck around her?.

Methe · 07/10/2014 20:48

Ooh how lovely. We are thinking about another kitten and dd saud she would call it pearl.. Must be all the rage in cat names!

hiddenhome · 07/10/2014 23:21

No I haven't got a fleece. She looks okay so far. I hope she's warm enough.

I reckon she'll be in DS2's bed as soon as your back is turned. Smile

isseywithcats · 08/10/2014 12:44

shes adorable

GoodboyBindleFeatherstone · 08/10/2014 12:46

I want one. Envy
Unfortunately GoodCat would probably have a heart attack.

hiddenhome · 08/10/2014 14:21

Update:

She jumped around in ds2 until about 10:00, then went into her bed which I'd put right next to ds' pillow. She slept there until morning then had her breakfast.

She's used her litter tray three times Smile

We left the bedroom door open and FatCat and OldCat came to view her. They both growled a bit, bit we're quite curious. They're now back to just doing their normal stuff, so don't seem too stressed.

I'm going to bring her downstairs shortly.

I've also bought a new covered in litter tray as those are the ones I like to use.

She's so lovely and so tiny!

Congratulations!

Rainicorn · 08/10/2014 14:29

What a cutie. Hope she settles in well with the other two.

hiddenhome · 08/10/2014 14:33

This is the other two looking at her in shock Grin

They're the resident and established cat duo and she's a single and small kitten who knows enough about other cats to at least appear deferential. I'd have thought they'll be OK with her - but best of luck anyway.

cozietoesie · 08/10/2014 14:37

x post

I'm not sure it's a bad sort of shock though - their body language seems quite good. (No going on the aggressive or defensive etc.)

hiddenhome · 08/10/2014 14:40

No, they don't seem angry and it's more curiosity than anything. They growled to stop her from going near them and stopped as soon as she backed off, I think that's a good sign.
