The weeing has got worse...advice on zylkene?

:( I'm running low on options now so am thinking of giving her some zylkene to reduce her stress. Do I need to get the advice of a vet (mine has been near useless so far, very young)? Or can I just buy some online and go from there?

You buy it off amazon. Have they ruled out uti etc?

Yeah they did a urine test but nothing came up from that

I have found zylkene quite effective in cats who are urinating for behavioural reasons. It is better combined with Feliway they work synergistically.
I always combine it with other management methods this advice is very comprehensive.
If I suspect feline idiopathic cystitis FIC I would also consider switching to a totally wet diet and using a problem like cyst aid.

Thanks lonecat. I have seen that page before and have done loads of research around why she might be peeing outside her box and have acted accordingly, so far nothing works. I will try transitioning her to a wet food diet though, in case that helps. She is urinating as opposed to spraying, but it looks strongly like perimeter marking. I've always got feliway plugged in too. It's so weird, she did it the moment I got home today, so close to her litter tray the wee went underneath.

How long does it take to work? Just trying to decide whether to buy a pack of ten or more.
