Battle of wills over worming tablet

I think this is the last time we attempt to sneak a drontal worming pill in our cat's food. She is getting wise to us and all the old tricks have stopped working! It's taken 36 hours of no further food being offered for her to finish her small bowl into which we crushed the tablet - replete with suspicious looks in our direction!

What should we be looking at as a replacement? Are they the liquid back of the neck style options? Are they as good? And do we need to be careful to stagger them between her monthly flea treatments which are also going onto the back of her neck?

I switched from drontol tablets to profender spot on. Does the same thing apparantly. I got told to stagger it so I do advocate at the beginning of the month and then pro fender two weeks later.

Although my kitty doesn't hunt so I only use the profender once every 6 months.

I think broadline may do everything?

I've switched to Broadline - the new style applicator is so neat that Seniorboy didn't actually notice he was being spotted when I did it the first time.

The back of the neck ones are fab. I'd definitely try one.

Yes we've had her spit the pill out before too!

Broadline sounds great, all in one so less hassle. But still got about 6 months of frontline spot on doses left, and two more drontal pills so may look into that applicator in the mean time.

Then when we run out, I think broadline will be the future! Thanks.
