It seems to be in perfect health, well fed, lovely soft fluffy clean fur, no fleas etc

It spends all day at our house, waiting on the garage roof when we go out

We don't feed it anything, so it obviously has a primary home

it is sat by me now, totally chilled and relaxed, follows us around wherever we go

I feel we are getting all the plus points opf having a moggy without any of the down sides (it shits somewhere else and we don't even have to pay for it's scran Smile ...)

You really need to get her checked for a chip. If you have a Pets at Home near you they have vets open at the weekend.

Ninetysixpercent · 04/07/2014 18:58

She could be lost but ime most cats have a second home. I know all mine used to spend a lot of time at my elderly neighbours across the road. They're not really known for their loyalty Grin.

Fast asleep and purring on the cushion next to me on the sofa. A bit noisy and agitated when we first got in (as very wet, I think).

Aw poor puss! She loves you...

Really need to see a pic of this gorgeous lost soul...:)

Lovethesea · 04/07/2014 19:07

My friend lost hers for months, turned out it had moved into a care home locally and was being fed by most residents. It was very put out when returned home.

Lovethesea · 04/07/2014 19:08

I think no one realised it hadn't been checked for a chip as they all presumed it was someone else's in the home.

AnyFucker · 04/07/2014 19:16

I can't do the pic thing. Very thick where technology is concerned.

You just take a photo with your phone, them when you write your message, click on choose file underneath, then choose existing photos and you can click on the photo. Even I can do it!

A bit noisy and agitated when you first got back says 'lost' to me, I'm afraid and not just wet (She likely thought her new humans had abandoned her and had to sound off about it.)

I'd get her down to the vet and have her chip-checked. If you smile sweetly, they may even give her a free weigh in so that you can tell what she's like under all that fluff.

AnyFucker · 04/07/2014 20:17

No, Scarlet, I cannot do it. I have a phone. The photos will be on there. I MN on my laptop. The twain never shall meet in my Tiny Mind.

Who's going to look after her while your away?

cozietoesie · 04/07/2014 20:23

Of course - I forgot you were away this weekend.

cozietoesie · 04/07/2014 20:24

I have to confess that I was thining of leaving shed dors open myself, Fluffy.

cozietoesie · 04/07/2014 20:25

Sorry for the spelling. I'm having to type with the assistance of Seniorboy.

AnyFucker · 04/07/2014 20:26

Well even if Phoebe turns about to be Delilah who lives in Tunbridge Wells, it sounds as if your household is a prime kitten candidate, AF.

We have had feline family members in the past

The last one was a bit traumatic, hence the gap

Percy got cancer. Vet kept saying "let's treat" even though it seemed the wrong thing to do as he was not having quality of life. He did die, probably in pain. Hence the Cat-Free house until now.

Maybe the owners work, and she wants daytime company?

AnyFucker · 04/07/2014 20:51

she won't get much company in the day time then as we are not around Weds-Sun as a rule

still here
