Got our new kitten on Weds eve and she is totally gorgeous, At present I am confining her to the lounge (as advised) I want to let her roam the house but we have a cat flap in the kitchen which the dog uses to alert me he needs to go out/come in and the cats use as and when during the day. I cannot shut the kitchen off as there is no door and cannot lock the cat flap all the time because of other pets. I can lock it while I let her roam under my surveillance but what do I do long term until she is allowed out? I cannot keep her in the lounge the whole time. Thank you
