She has stolen and eaten food she shouldn't have and now has an upset tummy.

What to give her - rice? eggs? white pasta? Advise please.

The modern feeling is that what get the gut normal fastest is normal food. The bad stuff has to come out not feeding just delays that. If you change the diet the gut normalises to that and then has to adapt again when you change back to normal possibly causing a relapse.

Interesting - so you wouldn't even go to bland food, Lone? Just grit your teeth, get the mop and keep on going?

Actually that's the advice with humans now, just keep eating what you fancy.

It's probably different for noro virus

I still rely on lots of hard boiled eggs - for humans and dogs, seems to work.

Boiled chicken breast is also an good option.

Useful to know, dog or cat. I'm lucky in that I've had a bunch of cats with pretty robust constitutions but there are a lot of upset insides on this board.

We always give a couple of dollops of natural yoghurt on top of the regular food when our dog has an upset tummy. It seems to settle a dicky tummy very well.
