He has just come in meowing his head off and is probably waiting in the kitchen for his tea. GirlCat just looked at him as if to say so what if you are home? GirlCat doesn't go far. BoyCat was seen down the end of the street last week!

I want to get electric fencing so he can't go far Grin.

And you should be honoured to serve him.

No idea where he is now, I am not feeding him yet. He can wait the little monkey.

Don't you know that dogs have owners, cats have staff?

I do but I worry about him as some neighbours drive like pricks and I don't want him run over.

Little pest scratched DS2's face last night. He won't keep his face away from them so this is the result. He was lucky not to have been scratched in his eye not that long ago by GirlCat.

Is DS2 learning though - how old is he?

He isn't learning as he has been scratched at least 4 times, probably more. He is 8. I know he loves the cats so much but the scratch to near the eye really worried me as I know the consequences.

It's a tad worrying, I'll admit. Unless you have exceptionally stroppy cats, I'd guess he's hounding them a bit too much - cornering them, that sort of thing. 8 is a difficult age to teach them that the best way to get a cat to come to you is, arguably, to ignore it. Maybe have a try on that one though?

He wasn't able to pick up our late cat due to the nature of her illness so having two cats that he can pick up and cuddle has been lovely for him but obviously they don't always agree. It seems to mainly happening when they are lying on a bed or in their box. I will try the ignore and they will come and see how we go. Neither cat is a lap cap. GirlCat likes to sleep on top of one chair and BoyCat used to sleep on top of DH's chair but he mainly sleeps on DS1's bed now - when he isn't exploring the neighbourhood of course.

Little monkeys have turned their noses up at the new biscuits to the point of not eating them and waiting until the next meal. That then has to be chunks so they eat. They know this I am sure. No point putting more biscuits down and I would worry they would go elsewhere hungry rather than eat something they aren't keen on.
