She had vestibular something or other & was treated twice for it
It came back again & the vet removed her ear

She looks like she has had another stroke - her back legs are splayed and she can't lick & clean her bum as she can't find it, she looks so drunk

I think this is it Sad DD is bereft already

I'm not too up on allergies but certainly once you've had an oriental or Siamese, it's difficult to have another sort of cat. You become used to their ways.

When the time comes closer, \link{http://www.siameserescue.org.uk/\here's a link} for you to bookmark, with lots of subsidiary links to the breed rescues. Good people.

PS - as with other rescues, they frequently have (or know of) cats who haven't made it on to their websites for one reason or another. A general telephone or email chat with the welfare officers is a good thing - once the time comes.

The more I think about it, the more I am convinced we tried too hard. But it was out of love.

4 siamese/orientals in & I couldn't consider a moggy even if DH & DD weren't asthmatic.

When it's time they will tell me

Sometimes you can try too hard but I think you'll usually only think that with hindsight - and you'll likely never actually know it. I've read your previous threads and you were trying, I think, for her sake and not just your own. That's important to remember.

Thanks

It's a real shame DH & DD aren't ready yet Sad
