Supermarket foods? Which ones are actually good?

Our PDSA vet said most of them are fine, you can buy expensive ones if you feel like spoiling your cat.
So far we tried IAMS, Sheba, Gourmet Gold -- i wonder if they are actually better than Whiskas or Kitekat, or just more expensive?

We were advised by vet that dried food is better but only specialised dried food eg hills and royal cain.

A lot of people have suggested avoiding go cat.

We give her part dry food part wet food. Previous owners fed her pretty much crap -- happy shoppers, etc.

I have found Butchers Cat food to be the best and I have tried an awful lot if different ones .

It can also be picked up at a reasonable price , Homebargains are selling it at 39p a tin , its the only one my cats will eat now

i also feed mine butchers classic meat as its high meat and no cereal, the reason go cat and whiskas isnt that good is the cereal content, i also feed mine asdas fish in hjelly as this gives them variety and also no cereal high fish content price wise around £3 for six tins

Mine will eat anything but I usually go for Butchers or Whiskas

Are there 2 different Butchers brands? Looking on amazon I found 'Butcher's Classics' & just 'Butcher's for Cats' - is the Classic the best one?

Ours have Tesco dry food and Tesco pouches with gravy, they're all quite happy!
