Does a cat need help to get used to new baby?

We got our cat when our youngest was 18 months he was 16 weeks old, Now the cat is 5 and i am due to have a baby in the next few weeks. Tbh I didn't think anything of it and other than keeping cat off the few bits and bobs we have out ready for the baby I just assumed perhaps naively that he would be fine with the baby. However having read another thread am getting slightly concerned that perhaps his nose will be pushed out of joint and was wondering if there were any tips or recommendations to help get cat used to the baby that feliway stuff for example?
I expected jealousy from the dc's didn't think to worry about poor cat

Has he already got a quiet(ish) and private place to go to get away from things? I should think he'll be fine if his first exposure to your house was an 18 month old.

Nothing designated as such but during the day he will either sit on the back of the sofa where he gets both the sun and the heat from a radiator if it's on or he will go upstairs on the end of one of the beds so he can escape he does have a basket but no interest in it.

I reckon he'll be fine. I wouldn't worry.
