Girl cat is sulking because I got up and out of bed before she managed to sneak her way up for a big snuggle in bed with me (she loves it I hate it). Then thick boy cat found a random chocolate weeto on the dining table and crunched then swallowed it

They are odd, very odd...

my lad loves weetabix!!!

He's 6 and only discovered meat about 6 months ago, prior to that they only thing he would contemplate was cat food - weirdo! He doesn't like milk at all, this was a an uncontaminated one

All cats are weird.

I have to defend pizza and chocolate cake from my Girlcat every time we have them. She also tries to help herself to my DH's tomato soup.
I have to actively fight to keep Boycat away from any crisps I am eating.

Actually it's only the chocolate cake that is weird.

Pizza - cheese or tomato - tick
tomato soup - tick
crisps - tick

My six month old boy kitten will try to eat anything, he particularly enjoys chickpeas though. One escaped the sieve whilst I was draining them and he picked it up, ran off with it, gobbled it down and came back to try and steal some more. Now I'm his best friend whenever I give him a small bowl of crushed chickpeas. He also tries to steal salad leaves.

Sorry to be a killjoy folks but chocolate can be toxic to cats. I'm not sure how much real chocolate would actually be in all these things (manufacturers these days being prone to use substitutes) so they're probably fine after a small nosh. I'd suggest, though, that it's not a taste to be encouraged - just in case they get to like it and then discover the stash of Easter Eggs next year.

I went to my secret stash of chocolate after Christmas one year (bedroom cupboard behind my clothes) to find my boy had eaten a chocolate Santa through the foil. He's also stolen and eaten nearly a whole chocolate muffin before. Sweet-toothed weirdo!
(I don't feed him these things, by the way. I'm a big believer that cats eat cat food - and occasionally chicken)

My old girl used to love chicken cup a soup and curry. When I moved back in with my parents she refused to leave because mum used to make her tea and egg for breakfast, soup for lunch and cat food for tea. If mum and dad were getting take out the animals got one between them too.

Bloody animals were better fed than the kids or dad.

My kitten literally eats everything! He is 7 month and just looks at you with these sad eyes when we are having tea as if to say come on just one bite. If I open the fridge and he is upstairs he hears it and runs down and tries to climb in and get to the ham. Caught him once in the cupboard (dp must have left it open ) where the cat food is and he had nibbled his way through the packet of treats! Cheeky boy!

I don't encourage it. It's my fucking chocolate!

I had a slice of chocolate cake in my hands and I bent down to pick something off the floor when she grabbed my hand and dug her claws in and helped her bloody self.

Girl cat luffs you though Random, you will miss her one day.

I know Fluffy, I am already well forgiven and being snuggled up to currently.

She only wants to go upstairs if I'm in bed - if I'm already up she doesn't bother

Boycat races me up the stairs to bed, but only if DH isn't already in the bedroom.

Really not sure what is going on, perhaps the sunbathing in the front bedroom got in the way of snuggles today!
