Cat suddenly very affectionate and wanting to be with me 24/7

My boy has gone from the least affectionate cat you can think of to suddenly around my 24/7. To the point of sleeping right between DH and I last night. And I mean right between us - like a child with his head on the pillow and blanket over him. He stayed like that all night - right up until we got up this morning.

As soon as I read the OP I thought PREGNANT! My oldest boy never left me alone when I was pregnant, even cried and scratched on the loo door until I let him in.

My cat always sits near me when I am upset. Maybe he just picked up on how you are feeling. My cat also gets clingy when I am off work.

My cat gets the need to be with me when I've been away for a few days. Am definitely not pregnant

My old lady cat wouldn't leave me be when I got pg. I told everyone she knew before I did! And she stayed like it till DS arrived (then pegged it to a safe distance )
