do cats have a bony bit onthe space betwwen the front legs?

Just noticd on my 6 month old neutered male ginger cat a bony bit do onthe space betwwen the front legs, what you might call his chest. Is this normal?

More pronounced when he is standing up than lying down.

You mean on the chest like a protruding sternum? (Oneago had one of those but not a bad one so it was only a cosmetic issue really.)

Have a look on google for cats' skeletons and see if that's the right place.

Cats are the only other mammals apart from humans who have clavicles (collar bones) that attach to their sternum (breast bone) this what you are feeling.
