Please hold my hand, little Lillie not home

We've had our 3 lovely rescue kitties 3 months and they have been going out under supervision. None go far and they like to check back regularly. Lillie always comes to my call (but only mine!).

They went out at 7 tonight and I haven't seen Lillie since. Two boys are home safe. Not a sign, not a mew not a glint of sparkly collar.

I know ths isnt long. ive been through it before with my jakey puss (rip) but I'm absolutely hyperventilating here. I've been round the houses calling her and the bit of overgrown wilderness at the back they love to play in.

I'm so tired I could cry but I can't go to bed till I know she's safe, so we are all (well me and the two cats!) camping in the conservatory on Lillie watch. She's just an innocent abroad so worried she's in trouble.

Oh bless! You sound so very worried! All of SecretCats will be praying for Lillie's safe return home.

I know now you feel - one of ours tends to go AWOL at night in the warmer weather. It was very frightening the first few times she did it - especially the first time. Hope Lillie turns up soon but try not to panic if she stays out overnight. Chances are she will be fine.

Ours has stayed out all night before now, and once until 4am. It's just a really hot night and she's probably having fun.

We shine a torch to find ours, their eyes show up as glowing dots in the light then.

Keep praying and keep calling.

See, the mumsnet theory comes up trumps again. The minute you post about a missing pet, they come home. Sorry for being a big girl, in my defence I am also worried sick about my horse. Actually, im just a big girls blouse when it comes to the furries full stop.

Thanks for being there. I am going to get one of those tracker devices!

She's the little girl you went back for? Or am I thinking of someone else?

At least you can go to bed now.

Well done, Lillie - good kitty! Sleep well, OP.

You're right fluffy, she's the little girl we went back for :)

Bed it is! :)
