Two three year old cats, a boy and girl, who were abandoned but are now going to live with us and be spoilt rotten and who are already loved by us all. Everything is ready and I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight!!

Any tips would be welcome though I have bought a cat book and have been reading it.

oh definitely keep them, & see how your DD goes on, MissStrawberry.

Her reaction may well subside as she gets sensitised (or desensitised - whichever it is). She probably should try to keep her face away from them though.

They were abandoned once, there is no way I could give them up.

Make sure your daughter is washing her hands after handling the cats and I know its hard but don't let her kiss/nuzzle the cats.
Also like your pharmacist said allergies do appear from nowhere and as well as new cats at home it is the hayfever season as well. Don't blame the cats just yet.

She seems a bit better today. We have been using eye drops and giving her piriton and have ordered some wipes for putting on the cats so hopefully it will all work out. Just need to sort me now as I seem to be reacting too Confused.
