Any tips for getting the smell of cat spray to disappear?

The big bully cat from down the road has come into our porch and given it a liberal spray. He did it onto a painted wall, and I have got the soapy water and cleaned it off. But I can still smell it. Sad

Sparkling Cat is not happy either.

Bicarbonate of soda gets rid of most smells. You'd probably have to make it into a paste since it's on the wall and leave it on there for a day or so before cleaning it off.

wash with biological washing powder. Spray then with a mix of surgical spirit and water ( to stop cats thinking it's a cat spray area).

thecatneuterer recommended some other stuff in this thread

for outside. That product is for decking but maybe it would work for yours - or maybe they do a similar which is more specific.

Ooh thank you all. It really stinks. I have biological washing powder and surgical spirit and Bicarb.

Will have a look at the other thread too.

Yes Cozietoesie - the Simple Solution stuff from Pets at Home works like magic - it even gets rid of the smell of fox spray and that stuff is evil. And yes, there are quite a few different sorts.

Sorry to de-rail but there's a fairly vile smell in my yard at the mo. it kind of smells like foxes... But not quite. Is this Tom cat spray, would you say?
