My beloved boy Hepcat was run over last night. He is currently in hospital with a badly broken pelvis. The vet is quite hopeful that, as long as he progresses as he is doing and comes off the drips and goes on to oral medicines, he will be able to come home in a few days times for 8 weeks cage rest. How the poor brave little chap dragged himself home and through the cat flap I will never know.

I wish I knew for sure who the gutless bastard was who ran him over and did not come to tell us. We live at the dead end of a small cul-de-sac so everyone in the street knows him. The only other traffic at the end of the cul de sac is our next door neighbour who always treats going in and out of the drive as the start of a formula 1 race and just happened to be cleaning their car today. Odd as they usually use the carwash - do you think I should challenge them ?

Cheese. Please read all the thread. Sad

How are you feeling molly. You ok?

WeezyPeezy · 23/10/2012 12:28

So so sorry Molly. I lost my beautiful boy, Arnold, yesterday. He wasn't hit but had long term health issues and lost his balance and couldn't focus on anything. We had to be kind to him and put him to sleep. I know how utterly heartbroken you feel and I'm sure you have given Pickle the most fantastic life a cat could have. It proves how safe she felt with you wanting to be in the one place you'd be when she was hurt. I found a little poem hat helped me and I hope it helps you. Much love xx
