i have had cats for years and years and years, i currently have 2 moggies aged 6.

for all these years i have never found a cat litter that is truly revolutionary - until now.

no more smelly litter tray
no more chucking the whole lot out
this stuff is wonderful. marvelous. it clumps, but doesnt go clumpy - you can scoop out even a wee - it kind of goes into a ball, its just brilliant.

i wonder why no one told me about it until now....but its

this stuff

i need to find it it much larger sacks and find a local stockist.

Hi Vicar I have recently taken in a wee stray kitten and have been using catsan in his litter tray do cats mind if you change their litter to a different brand as I wouldn't mind trying this for him.

As I've always been a dog owner I am learning as I go along as cats are so different to dogs.

mine dont seem to mind at all - and they are very fussy litter users! it was one use and then they would pee anywhere other than the litter tray....

this stuff is fabulous.

a quick google has sourced it much more cheaply too. i just bought a small bag to see if they would use it but is fab and they are - no slip ups yet and 2 days and counting!

i have wooden and tile floors but was getting a bit fed up of "accidents"

not happening now. this stuff is brill!

i use chick crumb - dead cheap and clumps

ThatVikRinA22 · 07/10/2012 23:39

i have tried every single kind of clumping stuff but this stuff is different.....wee goes into a ball - not a clumpy mess on the bottom of the tray - a ball that can be simply scooped out.

its so good!

I think the cat litter crystals are the best.

Twiggy71 · 07/10/2012 23:49

I am definitely learning as I go along I ordered a couple of hooded litter trays online for Maddox (ginger kitten) but only realised when they arrived that they were massive.

I hadn't read the description very well on ordering them they were jumbo litter trays you could nearly loose him in the box.
I must try and get a small bag to try it Vicar though I don't know what chick crumb is at all?

ThatVikRinA22 · 08/10/2012 00:11

ive tried crystals.....really this stuff beats crystals. (well it does for my fussy puscats anyway....)

I use the same one Vicar and agree it's great - it lasts longer without changing as you can scoop out the clumps so easily.

TallulahTwinkle · 08/10/2012 16:32

Yes, I agree too, it's marvellous.

Zoo plus seem to do it cheapest but let me know if anywhere beats it :)

iamkirsty · 08/10/2012 20:21

We're using Sainsburys own clumping cat litter at the minute. Pretty impressed so far! Huge balls of wee! So great not having to chuck the whole lot out every few days.
Anyone else used it before? Considered going for a more expensive one but it's going so well with this one I don't know if I'll bother!

ThatVikRinA22 · 09/10/2012 02:03

ive never before found a cat litter, even a clumping cat litter, that doesnt go like lumps of clay that you have to sort of scrape out.....this one goes into a loose ball of litter, thats the difference ive found.

the reviews are rave on the sights.
i now see why - if i were to ever rave about something as mundane as kitty litter this would be it!

day 4 and no smells.
its so easy to keep clean!

The best bit for me is that you can flush there clumps down the toilet!

Be aware that the zoo plus bag is massive! Really huge! I just buy it from pets at home as I end up using so little of it.

I agree Vicar. I read about it on here about a year ago and am grateful to whoever it was who shared it then. (Sorry, don't remember the name). And I agree, it is way better than crystals. Actually one of my cats hates the crystals which didn't help but she does approve of this stuff.
