My cat just sicked up the jelly from a pouch of felix?

My 18 month old cat has been making the odd cough, strangulation, regurgitation noise the last few evenings.

I wondered if she had a cold and needed to see the vet as she has sneezed a few times too.

Anyway, tonight she has sicked out some fluid which contained scrambled felix kitten jelly, but no meaty bits (sorry tmi).

She had a worming tablet from the vet this morning.

I dont think shes had the felix before this week.

Any ideas?

Maybe it doesnt suit her? Switch back to her old food and if theres still a problem pop her up to the vets (am assuming she is bright etc and that is why you havent taken her already) Tablets can also make them sick, not necessarily because of the drug but sometimes just giving it (I might be sick I think if someone did that to me ^^)

She is very well in herself except i notice she has been coughing quite a lot, sort of squatting low over the floor and having a bout of wrenching coughs?

Sounds like hairballs not a vet! Check it out with your vet, try the old food and ensure she has access to grass Smile

Might she have a hair ball?

So might she cough for a few days or a week before she gets rid of it if its a hairball?

Hopefully she will deliver her "hairy slug" out of doors

A hair ball?

I have just laughed so much - I already youtubed some real cats - but this one is actually way more accurate!!!!

Oh god the furball noise... And why always in the middle of the night, so you're half awake and you think they're dying?
