has anyone seen it? i just did, very upsetting, happened in america, chap from a chinese restaurant. wish i hadn't seen it really, i shouldn't have watched it, some people are cold & evil

Oh dear - as a person of Chinese "race" I am upset any time something is posted online with a Chinese person behaving badly, as I know we all get tarred with the same brush.

My mother was a great cat-lover, as all my family have been.

Not surprised that the video comes from the dailymail online - a site full of hatred towards non-whites in general. Or that America is involved. Opinion polls show that a majority of Americans have a very negative view of Chinese people.

Incidentally, why is the phrase "chinese man" used in the title of this thread?

If the man had been "white" would it have read "...white man throwing kittens around"?

Is animal cruelty only practised by Chinese and other non-whites?

Are white people never abusive of cats and other animals?

i knew after having typed it that someone would scrutise the fact that i had said that. looking for something in nothing here. like with the recent shooting in america, headline was 'american man', same here, no hidden inuendo, if the title had been (when i first saw it) 'scottish man' etc i would have put that in the title too however, as you have stated that you are chinese are feel that people get at chinese people then i understand your take on it so i appologise for that mistake even though in this instance no intent, theere are plenty of white british bad eggs too, like the twat who put his sisters pet hamster in the microwave or the white british women who decided to 'cook' her friends kitten just to get back at her..
