we noticed this moring that our litten kitten has taken a flap of skin off his paw and he is limping a little - he will still walk and play - i have cleaned it 3 times today with warm water and cotton wool ,this evening its weeping a little but no blood
to vets or not ?

How big is the flap of skin and how easy do you think it would be for a vet to stitch it if necessary?
If it's weeping, it might be best to let the pad dry naturally into a scab which will give a bit of temporary protection to the wound while he's walking around and using his litter tray etc, especially as it's probably too late to take him to a vet tonight, but you're right to worry about keeping the wound clean. You could try to put a dressing on his paw but he may rip it off even if it's been fastened really securely.
I hope he's better in the morning.
