Title says it all. He is a very outdoorsy cat, he has always gone out all day and come in about 11, stays overnight and then sods off in the morning bringing nice treats home Hmm

We have recently moved to a new house right on a farm. The farmer has feral cats. Our poor cat is now getting into a scrap every time he goes out. He is MISERABLE indoors. Just sits by the door, but if we let him out he just sits on the step, fur up! They actually WAIT for him come out.

Do you think its likely they'll sort it out themselves? There is no way he can be an indoor cat, he would hate it and I couldn't do that to him.

I should also add that he is quite small (only just a year old). Two of the cats are bloody big ginger toms....

Ask the local cats protection if they do trap, neuter, release.

It would calm the ginger toms down a bit.

Other than that you have to let them fight it out, it's their patch and he is intruding in their eyes.

Ours beat up next doors female till she snapped one day, bowled out of the cat flap, knocked him on his back and was essentially punching him in the stomach. DH had to seperate them.
