Is it possible to lose a whisker and have a sort of hole?

Just been fondling my pussy and I noticed a sort of gappy hole where, presuming he is symetrical, a whisker should be.
He doesn't seem to be in any pain when I was looking. Could his brother have pulled it out when they fight?

I think the whiskers do come out occasionally and grow back.

Yes, I agree
I sometimes found my cats whiskers on the sofa
So long as the cat seems fine, I'm sure it's ok

He won't stay still long enough for me to look down his hole. Little sod. He keeps nipping me because that's how he tends to show affection. Honestly.

I've found whiskers around the house too.

As long as it isn't bleeding or swollen it should be fine.

No, no blood. I think it must be a couple of days post extraction. He isn't in any discomfort, nor is he nipping me because I was looking at it.
He really does little bites as a show of his love Hmm

it's fine, I find them round the house all the time, they're like eyelashes

I must say the title of your post made me smile :-D

First time I found a whisker it freaked me out. But I've found quite a few since :-) And noticed little holes. It's fine :-)
