I have three cats, the dim one (female, 6ish), the crafty one (male, 4ish) and a 15 week old kitten. We got the kitten at 6 weeks as she was a rescue. The crafty one won't leave her alone. They play enthusiastically all day long, destroying the house and having a great time. The male cats favourite thing is to hold the kitten down on her back, and lick her tummy lovingly, and due to his sheer size he manages this about ten times a day. I'm not sure she's keen on this, due to the alarmed squeaking she makes every time he gives her the lovin'. The female cat ignores them both.
Is he being unreasonable? Paternal or pervy? He's been neutered. I had hoped the dim cat would take over a maternal role with the clueless kitten but she is very disdainful of their antics. Anyone else had a new kitten join the house and this happen? She's not scared of the big cats, just not keen on being molested.
