I don't think my cats like me anymore, ungrateful buggers

Now that it's nice weather they don't want anything to do with me :( they're 3 and 6 and even though they aren't allowed out at night they just don't bother coming home. Got up this morning and they're both in the garden but do I get a lovely greeting? Do I hell. One didn't even want breakfast.

I want a nice cuddly lap cat, like my old boy who passed away in November.

I find myself buying them special treats like ham and prawns to bribe them to like me. Doesn't work.

Maybe I should trade them in for a puppy.

But don't you find that's the great thing about cats? I love their independence. I wish one of my cats would be a bit more independent - yes, he goes out and plays, etc..., but always demands my full attention usually at the most annoying time, like when I'm trying to bfeed DS, and gets under my feet. At 5am he scratches at our bedroom door and pulls up the landing carpet so we'll get up and give him breakfast and a cuddle. Naughty boy. Love him really...
